Alicier Arts Chamber Music
is a collective ensemble and concert series founded by violinist Phoebe Tsang, and flutist Kimberley Schemeit, in February 2006. Our collective features some of the Toronto’s finest freelance classical musicians. Members have performed with the city’s most prestigious ensembles including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Canadian
Opera Company, Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, Continuum Contemporary Music, and many others.
Over the years, Alicier Arts has expanded from presenting classical concerts, to commissioning new works from emerging composers, and collaborating with artists across genres including jazz, contemporary and spoken word. "Cafe des Arts", our debut CD, will be launched in 2011.
